Round About the Earth

Where is that free will hard hittin’ brain I used to drain like mad dashing rain.
Pounding Serenghetti pages where that onece barren desert now drenched with ink.
Till you could tip the book and drink blue dye number two.
Drink deep, quench that thirst that first set your mind to frenzy.
Be it Bombay skylight at twilight, bourbon, blondes or the bums you hurdle on your way down the street everyday. Wether it is quite release of rage or unrequentent love.
Romantic nonsensicles you leave out on torn tattered worn pieces of parchment,
For someone anyone to read. Someone who will find it and tuck it in their pocket before they walk away.
Wether it be your doctrine of reason or a question for the ethos, you are now at the age of reason. We are always at the age of reason. At the height of understanding.
Always fearing ever planning our own cruel demise.
Praying for just one more sunrise, one more shout before my time runs out.
One more scream to round about the earth so every ear can hear me.
So every heart will feel me, so every mind will remember me.
So someone will believe in me.
